The Ultimate Dmexco 2019 Party Guide

There are some great parties scheduled for Dmexco this year, from local players and international advertising companies alike.

Tuesday

After the long journey on the Bidswitch Express / Ratecard Express – or a day spent discussing universal identity at the Online Ad Summit – followed by a quick skål with the IAB Sweden in the Radisson Blu – I recommend the Freewheel drinks, the OpenX and LiveRamp party followed by an elegant dinner such as those hosted by Rubicon Project or Telaria.  Then over to Hans-Boeckler Platz for Tequila and good times at the Premexco party hosted by Adsquare, Appsflyer, Smaato and the MMA.

Wednesday

A first for this year is the ‘Dmexco dash’ at 7 am on Wednesday morning created by MarketMakers and sponsored by LinkedIn, following success in Cannes, the IAB Leadership Summit in Palm Springs and the Festival of Media in Rome.  If you prefer two wheels, Adobe is offering coffee rides on both mornings. Early morning exercise should clear the head for a productive day of back-to-back meetings interspersed with some interesting sessions on stage from speakers from TripleLift, Spotify and CNN.

The competition for booth parties on Wednesday has ramped up for 2019 and by 7 pm much of Hall 6 will be packed with drinks by Taboola, Index Exchange, Xandr, Dailymotion and Teads, among many others, before moving to the longer-lasting parties in Hall 8, with ProseibenSat.1 and RTL Group pulling out all the stops to host the biggest and best.

There are more good parties scheduled, with Lotame and the Criteo RoofStop standing out.  Then it’s on to Barney’s Vallely’s Irish Bar, which will be taken over this year by ExchangeWire and Unruly, before the official and unofficial parties commence.

With ‘trust in you’ the motto for the show this year, we are looking forward to a packed schedule of meetings talking data, trust, transparency and identity.
